In collaboration with Rosetti Aparthotel Bucharest
Location
Rosetti Aparthotel Bucharest is located a fifteen-minute walk away from the stunning Old Town and a ten-minute taxi ride from Bucharest North railway station. Other nearby attractions include the Romanian National Museum and the beautiful Cișmigiu Park. Rosetti is situated in a building dating from 1903, with a stylish new five-story building added on it. The neighbourhood hosts a mix of old villas, modern buildings, restaurants, and shops – stopping for a coffee or a snack is easy when walking back to Rosetti from Bucharest’s main sights.
Style
Rosetti Aparthotel Bucharest is easily recognisable by the retro-style Mercedes parked in front of it. By the entrance, there’s also a row of bicycles which are available for the guests to use. The ground floor houses the reception and a lounge where guests can enjoy coffee or tea. The second floor features a peaceful rooftop terrace for the exclusive use of guests – this is not a party hotel.
My Apartment was on two floors and included a small balcony overlooking the street. The windows are soundproofed, and I did not hear any disturbing noises during my entire stay, either from inside or outside the hotel. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were particularly impressive. My bathroom was separated from the sleeping area by a matte glass wall and door, adding spaciousness and brightness to the space. The bathroom was beautifully designed with white tiles and wooden elements, complemented by refreshing turquoise tiles in the rainfall shower area.
My Stay
I spent two nights at Rosetti. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and includes a Nespresso machine and tea. Breakfast can be ordered from the nearby Paul’s café. Orders should be placed at the reception by 8 pm the previous day, and the next morning, it is placed outside your room on a tray at the requested time. As I was on a combined business and leisure trip, I could work in the morning at the downstairs dining table. I spent the days exploring the city – you can easily walk from Rosetti to the Old Town’s main attractions. In the early evening, it was delightful to return to Rosetti, knowing that a comfy bed awaited. I especially liked the lighting, which could be dimmed to create a relaxing ambiance after a bright and sunny day.
Highlight
After spending long days walking the streets of Bucharest, the highlight was returning to my apartment at Rosetti in the early evenings. The furniture was of high quality, inviting relaxation, and the apartment had a peaceful atmosphere.
