The apartments of Skau in Eurovea and Sky Park showcase the modern side of Bratislava, complemented by stunning views.***
Location
Skau Apartments offers accommodation in the popular Old Town of Bratislava and the emerging neighborhoods of Eurovea and Sky Park. Skau Eurovea is situated alongside the Danube River, connected to the largest shopping center in Slovakia, Eurovea, which was opened in 2023.
Skau Apartments Sky Park flat is a must for fans of modern architecture, as it is located on the 21st floor of a building designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid.
The apartments are within about a five-minute walk from each other and approximately a 10-minute drive from Bratislava’s main railway station (Bratislava hlavná stanica). The Old Town is about a 10-minute walk away, and Bratislava Castle is just over 2 kilometres away. Both apartments are surrounded by shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Style
Skau Eurovea and Sky Park are both decorated in a modern style. The Eurovea apartment spans two floors, with a bedroom and wardrobes on the upper floor, and a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet on the lower floor. The apartment is crowned by wall-sized windows offering views of the Danube and the riverside promenade with its restaurants.
Sky Park is located in a retro-looking building designed by Zaha Hadid. However, the interior of the apartment is modern with an open kitchen. Whereas the Eurvea apartment has a rainshower cum bathtub, here there is a bathtub with a regular shower. The living room and the balcony connected to the bedroom provide impressive views of the Danube and the Old Town, towards Bratislava Castle.

My Visit
I spent a night in both Skau apartments. Upon arriving at Eurovea, I was surprised to find it within the vibrant setting of the brand-new shopping center. After a long day of travel, it was nice to have coffee in the mall and take a leisurely walk along the Danube. It was Sunday, and many locals were enjoying the riverside promenade and the variety of restaurants offering everything from Italian to Asian cuisine. I had dinner first and then bought breakfast supplies from the mall’s store – the apartment comes equipped with a Nespresso machine and tea.
The next morning, I moved to Skau’s Sky Park apartment. It was a Monday, a workday for me, and the space provided excellent conditions for work. It was pleasant to take coffee breaks while admiring the panoramic city view from the large window. In the afternoon, I took a stroll in the Old Town, and on my way back, picked up healthy dinner supplies from Yeme, a gourmet food store located a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.
